The Brief
Transform a new 85m² tenancy within the Woolworths Bullsbrook development into a warm and welcoming café that balances a strong customer experience with the practical requirements of a fully operational commercial kitchen.
The fit-out needed to maximise the compact space while accommodating front-of-house dining, coffee and food service, banquette seating, outdoor connectivity and an efficient back-of-house preparation area.
The Solution
Access Projects & Construction delivered a comprehensive hospitality fit-out.
A major feature of the project was the extensive custom joinery manufactured through our in-house joinery team. This included the front service counter, back-bar coffee station, water station, high benches, banquette seating, overhead shelving, feature timber elements and back-of-house storage. Each component was coordinated with the equipment, services and surrounding finishes to create a cohesive and highly functional environment.
Natural timber finishes, warm neutral paintwork, feature lighting, stone surfaces and detailed tiled finishes were brought together to create a contemporary café with a welcoming and distinctive character.
The Results
Through careful programming, early procurement and close coordination between our site team, in-house joinery division, subcontractors and equipment suppliers, the fit-out was completed in line with the required opening timeframe. The works included the integration of extensive custom joinery, commercial kitchen equipment and specialist electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire and food-tenancy requirements.
The completed venue was handed over as a compliant, customer-ready hospitality space, providing Emerald Cafe with an efficient commercial kitchen, practical service areas and a welcoming front-of-house environment ready for day-to-day operations.
